What's New at River Oaks?

VISION STATEMENT: All students will achieve or exceed the proficiency level in all areas of accountability by the end of each school year.

MISSION STATEMENT: We seek to provide every student with a learner-centered culture where students and teachers collaborate, create, talk through the thinking process, share, write and ask higher order questions.

River Oaks Elementary School is a Title I School-wide School, which means that we receive federal funds to assist us in meeting our student's educational needs. One percent of those funds are designated for parental involvement which is how we purchase the student planners that are sent home daily and used as a communicative tool between home and school.
